| 1. Do you have back-up equipment? |
Professional equipment is the best, but some do fail. Don't let this stop your event short. Make sure there is back-up equipment and be sure there is a back-up DJ should any emergency or illness occur. |
| 2. Does your equipment meet commercial standards? |
There is a big difference between home audio and professional on road equipment. The equipment used by professional DJ's are equipped to withstand road wear on a day-to-day basis. |
| 3. Are you a registered business and are you insured? |
Be confident that the DJ you hire will show up at your affair! Make sure they are are a reistered business for over three years. Insurance will give security and protection to you and your guests. |
| 4. Do you provide written agreements? |
It is very important to have a confirmation in writting by contract and a performance rider. Terms should be clearly defined to avoid future problems. |
| 5. Will you dress appropriately at my event? |
It is very important that your DJ and Emcee look the part by dressing in a formal tux or semi-formal attire according to your preference. Theme shows and corporate events require different dress. |
| 6. Will you play the music at an appropriate level? |
A large concern at all events expressed by prospective clients is the volume of the music. Professional Entertainment Companies know to keep the volume at an appropriate level during cocktail and dinner time. At all times you should be in control of the level. |

Your DJ should listen to all suggestions on music and requests. They should also be involved in any decisions concerning the entertainment of the event. Your input should be welcome. |

The music library should be kept up to date on a weekly basis on current titles with a past collection of above average proportion. Keeping in mind that the music should be suited to fit a variety of musical tastes and age ranges. |
